FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 (FF H1) 为主系统如：DCS或PLC和现场仪表之间供电，进行数字性通讯传输。状态信息和控制命令可在同一电缆上多达31个参与者之间进行传输。现场总线系统比单纯的过程控制系统要先进许多。远程设置参数，资产管理，预见性维护都能通过现场总线完成。
现场总线电源为现场设备提供电源，并通过一根共用电缆使现场设备和控制系统之间进行通信。它有两种形式：一个紧凑的电源中心和一个基本的电源。
电源集线器由主板和单个电源模块组成。模块化设计允许精确的解决方案适用于不同的应用和类型的防爆。定制的主机连接，使高效和无差错连接到各种主机系统。电源集线器可作为单工或冗余版本。连接到DCS可以选择或定制减少布线和测试工作。紧凑型电源集线器是大多数应用程序推荐的版本。
