ROFIBUS PA 是目前流行的PROFIBUS协议的一部分。与 PROFIBUS DP的数据格式一致，简单地将设备集成到2个网络里，不存在任何障碍。
按IEC 61158-2标准 ，PROFIBUS PA 是现场总线，可在主机系统如DCS和PLC与现场仪表之间供电并进行数字通讯 –状态信息和控制命令可在同一电缆上多达31个参与者之间进行传输。PROFIBUS比单纯的过程控制系统要先进许多。通过PROFIBUS,可完成远程设定，资产管理，预见性维护。
FieldConnex® 是PROFIBUS PA数据集成到 DP-Master的合适系统。简单可靠的元件保证了其运行的持久性。多种防爆概念的选择使其成为安装，调试和可靠运行的首选技术。
数据通讯和供电电源经过同一电缆传送到现场仪表中。耦合器电源组件将电量传输到线缆上。2区安装认证。根据不同的电压和高达500mA电流，可选择不同的防爆装置。
