倍加福的逻辑控制单元广泛使用在自动化工业领域。在实际使用中，它们能够检测数字或模拟信号，可将其显示出来并带有监视功能。为了解决信号之间的转换和应用，倍加福提供了数显表，计数器/定时器，转速计及其它二次仪表，尤其结合使用倍加福的接近开关，光电传感器和编码器能够达到理想的效果。
当处理信号或脉冲时，倍加福可提供多种可选择的逻辑控制单元产品。
带LED或LCD显示的多功能装置:输入脉冲显示；计数，转速计，定时功能；最高可设2个预设值，继电器或晶体管输出；可设置比例系数；最高可达100 kHz 的频率和可辅助供电给传感器或编码器。
计数器的应用极为广泛，不仅能用于计数，还可用于分频、定时，以及组成各种检测电路和控制电路。
