液位测量技术是化学、化工、环境和相关行业中过程控制管理的基本技术。
液位传感器可以检测到当前浸入的高度。它通过介质表面与预设参考高度的差值来测量实现。连续液位测量带有使用率评估，漏液控制及精确流程控制(VDI/VDE Directive 3519)的功能。
测量原理：
该仪表基于电磁脉冲的反射作用，电磁脉冲沿着传感器的杆或索缆传播，在介质表面被反射。集成在传感器内的电子器件通过往返时间判定物位，显示在显示屏上。 电磁脉冲发射，被介质表面反射和再次接收。脉冲的往返时间正比于里介质表面的距离。测量步骤和测量的精确性很大程度上依赖于压力、温度、蒸汽、粉尘、泡沫、黏性、导电性和PH值。
工作模式：
根据时间领域反射计（TDR）原理，这种连续量物位检测装置可以通过由杆子或牵缆导向的微波脉冲的传播时间来确定液体和块状固定的连续量物位。 高频脉冲由传感器杆子导向，在介质表面被反射。通过脉冲传播的时间，接口电子元件就可测出块状物体的物位。根据以上测量原理，这种传感器很大程度上避免了过程：如压力、温度及移动表面的影响。
