对于大多数的控制系统而言，常常需要将输入信号转换为系统可接受的信号模式。那么信号调节器的功能就是将各种现场信号，例如热电偶，热电阻转换为多种标准的仪表信号(1…5V, 4…20 mA）等。
信号调节器对于信号的精确传输、信号的隔离以及防止信号干扰等方面起到很大的作用。
浪涌保护器，也叫防雷器，是一种为各种电子设备、仪器仪表、通讯线路提供安全防护的电子装置。当电气回路或者通信线路中因为外界的干扰突然产生尖峰电流或者电压时，浪涌保护器能在极短的时间内导通分流，从而避免浪涌对回路中其他设备的损害。
