倍加福隔离式安全栅不但有限能的功能，还有隔离功能，它主要由回路限能单元，信号和电源隔离单元、信号处理单元组成。隔离式安全栅采用了将输入、输出以及电源三方之间相互电气隔离的电路结构，同时符合本安型限制能量的要求。
H 系列可将多个隔离栅安装在端子板上，连接危险区现场设备和控制系统。与单一接口模块相比，端子板极大地简化接线，节省了成本。 端子板配有坚固的塑料机壳，便于在机柜内快速稳固的安装。在端子板上有多个安装卡槽，工程人员不必使用工具即可将隔离栅安装在端子板上。隔离栅模块支持热插拔。可选的故障监测端子板使得操作及维护更加快捷。
配有电缆连接头的预置电缆可以简化设计和文档管理。这些电缆代替了端子板与控制器I/O卡件（DCS，ESD）之间繁杂的点对点接线.
信号转换器将危险区的仪表信号，例如温度、传感器、电位计等信号转换调节成为成比例的0/4…20mA信号或者 0/2…10V信号。
