为非防爆设备提供安全保护和快速调试及简易修改的选择合并在一起， 是结合隔爆型和增安型防爆装置的优势。
许多不同的防爆外壳可供选择使用在爆炸或危险环境整治保护任何设备，同时为信号和电源连接的操作元件和端子在增安型外壳中是容易接入的。
每一个复杂的解决方案都可以精确地定制来满足特别应用的需求。为了设计出最理想的解决方案，在倍加福解决方案工程中心经验丰富的项目工程师将会在整个项目过程中与客户紧密地沟通和联系。每一个解决方案将会直接运输到操作地点并包含全部的文件和证书。调试将会快速而简单，并且不需要在现场打开防爆型外壳。
Ex de 组合型解决方案由在上面的隔爆型机箱（Ex d）和在下面的增安型机箱组成，包括了按客户需求安装的端子和操作元件。两种箱体通过特殊的电缆导管牢固地连接在一起。它们之间的法兰能够防止灰尘的推积和水气的渗入。
没有被专门设计用在危险区域的用于测量和控制的电气设备，可以安装在Ex d隔爆型防爆机箱中。除了来自倍加福的隔离式安全栅，这些元件还包括满足客户需要的DCS和ESD系统或者其他仪器仪表。抗压的机箱外壳确保非本安设备不会对危险环境造成危害。在理想条件下，Ex d隔爆型防爆机箱在初次安装后就尽可能不要开启，如果需要打开，在打开和关闭时都要依照IEC60079-14中的特殊规范。Ex e增安型机箱只能安装已取得防爆认证的电气元件。这就使得它的操作比Ex d隔爆型机箱更加简单和安全。端子，控制和监测元件可以以遵从相关的规定为原则，在任何时间进行维护或者更换
通过这种方法，客户可以同时获得两种保护方式带来的益处：Ex e增安型机箱允许操作元件简单的扩展和改变。Ex d机箱内部的控制设备可供随时使用并且支持快速调试，这就需要很小的系统停车时间以及减少的维护工作。
