HART 接口解决方案由适用于多信号回路的HART 多路转换器和适用于单回路的HART回路转换器组成。HART多路转换器将现场HART设备和资产管理系统（例如AMS系统：艾默生公司的智能设备管理软件）连接。
HART 接口解决方案工作原理是象一个网关设备，在PC和HART现场设备之间路由通讯，它询问每一个现场HART设备，找到设备信息，存储到内部数据库中，这些信息可以被PACTware软件和AMS管理软件识别。HART 多路转换器也像一个信息协调者，协调PC和HART设备之间的通讯，对于单回路的HART转换器而言，它可以访问现场设备的所有过程变量值并且将它们转换成为4－20mA信号。这使得所有隐藏的数据都可以得到充分的利用。
HART通讯板和H系统HART多路采集器 HID MUX2700联合使用，带冗余的供电和RS485的通讯接口，为用户提供最大的便利。同时提供和多家DCS系统匹配的端子板。
